My sewing output is so meagre of late I haven't had anything to blog about - luckily the latest Patrones is here. As is my loot from the latest Vogue/BMV sale including this dress which I'm hoping to try out this weekend.
Patrones 315 is the Summer edition - lots of light separates with a bit of a frilly/wild west feeling; and also some great dresses in the plus size section.
There's a section of frilly, floral separates and these 2 dresses.
A section on Denim and Lace. This blouse is particularly nice.
That is followed by 'Fashion Trends' with the designer styles that they don't name any more (sadly) - this month they have styles from 'patchwork' to 'African rythms', 50s pin up, hawaiian, 1930s and urban safari.
oh, I did like this issue of Patrones! It looks like the older ones, with lots of interesting patterns. The "MODA&TENDÊNCIA" part looks great, as well as the blouses in the Lace and Denin section... since I´ll have to wait for months until I get my magazines down here (:( ),I really enjoy your reviews... as for actual sewing, same thing here, not so much going on!
ReplyDeleteI like dress 24 with the cowl, midriff and straps at the back. Is that a woven or a knit?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Heidi above that this issue looks like the old ones.
Their models are getting more and more freaky (and the styling more and more I am a fashion blogger, sponsor me/ follow me *robot voice*. The patterns do look cool though. Have you found their sizing has changed? I made up a couple of things and found the fit a bit off.. =S Also the two chicks with bustiers on: are those jeans patterns?
ReplyDeleteHi Jacquie! I just got Manequim 638 and I'm finding several cute things I want to make. Are you still getting the magazine? Mod 337, a satin and velours top looks interesting for you.
